RHEA System BV is the market leader in concurrent design and engineering capabilities, providing a powerful design methodology for the early stages of projects that involve multiple engineering and business disciplines. This is supported by RHEA’s Concurrent Model-based Engineering Tool (COMET) software. RHEA is active in several EC (European Commission) and ESA (European Space Agency) related to protection, prevention and civil security projects and programmes including the Civil Security from Space programme. It also provides holistic cyber-resilient programmes to protect clients against cyberattacks, including security operations centres and cyber-range capabilities for cyberattack preparation, testing and training.
 

RHEA Group is headquartered in Belgium and employs over 750 people who work in offices and at client sites across Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK and Canada.

The PPRD Med project is funded by the European Commission DG ECHO (Directorate General European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations) and is implemented by ISTC (International Science and Technology Center) with the support of ESA/R3 Accelerator (European Space Agency). The R3 Accelerator/Civil Security from Space programme (CSS), aims to enhance the contribution of space solutions to support the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, for the substantial reduction of economic losses as well as losses in lives, livelihoods, and health due to climate-induced crises.
