Quarterly 2/2025 Teamwork Session – PPRD Med

A productive and forward-looking session this week under the PPRD Med initiative, marking our Quarterly Teamwork Coordination for Q2/2025.

📍 7th Teamwork Session

We reviewed work progress and planned key activities leading up to November 2025, reinforcing collaboration and preparedness across partner countries. Preparation of the 4th Steering Committee to be held in Spain back-to-back with UfM events.

📍 Thematic Meeting on Programmes and Planning

Focused discussions addressed ongoing programmes, legal aspects, and the validation and distribution of a 6-month operational timeline to guide upcoming actions.

📍 Final Teamwork Session – Agenda Validation

The session concluded with alignment on the final agenda and priority actions, paving the way for continued coordination and effective implementation across the region.

This session reflects our collective commitment to building resilience and strengthening regional disaster risk management capacities.

The PPRD Med project is funded by the European Commission DG ECHO (Directorate General European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations) and is implemented by ISTC (International Science and Technology Center) with the support of ESA/R3 Accelerator (European Space Agency). The R3 Accelerator/Civil Security from Space programme (CSS), aims to enhance the contribution of space solutions to support the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, for the substantial reduction of economic losses as well as losses in lives, livelihoods, and health due to climate-induced crises.
